We officially began the adoption process by sending in our application to the Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI), along with our $150 application fee.

01/12/2006 Amy's Homestudy Interview
Today Amy had her individual interview for our adoption homestudy with our social worker, Pat Pielich. Holston United Methodist Home for Children is our Homestudy agency.

Today Doug had his individual interview for our homestudy with Pat Pielich.
01/19/2006 Kyra and Isaac's Adoption Physicals
We saw Dr. Jodi today, and Kyra had her Kindergarten immunizations. Both kids had to have a TB skin test. Then, at 2:00 this afternoon, we took Zoe to get caught up on her rabies vaccine. NOT a very fun day, but one more thing checked off the list! We'll have the TB skin tests read on Saturday.
01/23/2006 Homestudy Home Visit and Final Interview!
Pat came today for our last interview and home "inspection" She met Kyra and Isaac for the first time, and talked to them about their new baby sister. Isaac was very excited to tell her about his "Chinese baby" LOL WE PASSED! Praise God! Now, all we have to do it get the rest of our paperwork into Pat's hands, and our homestudy will be complete!
01/26/2006 Doug and Amy's Adoption Physicals
Today Doug and Amy saw Dr. Colinger in Piney Flats for our adoption physicals and bloodwork. We'll go back on Saturday to have our TB skin tests read, and to get to results of our lab work (HIV and HB tests)
