Long time, no journaling! Our Dossier (see picture) is now in critical review at CCAI, and should be sent to China within the week! The wait time to referral continues to grow longer and longer, but we trust that God's timing is perfect. We know he chose our daughter to be a part of our family before we even thought of her, and that he knows the exact place and time that we will first lay eyes on her! Isn't that amazing to think about!? Still, we can't help but hope that the wait somehow gets shorter!  (Our agency is saying 12-14 months, with the very real chance that it will be even longer!)

Isaac turned 3 last week! How time flies when you're having fun! His birthday party was fun, with lots of kiddos running around getting wet!

We're planning a mini-vacation for the end of this month to Hilton Head Island. Nana (Amy's mom) and Anna (Amy's siter) will go with us, and Anna's precious little girl Isabel will get to see the ocean for the first time! Wonder if she'll be impressed? :)

What a whirlwind of paperwork the last month has been! But, at the same time, what a blessing!

We have just a couple more things to wait on (unfortunately one of those being the dreaded Memphis I-171H) before our paperwork is all ready to be notarized, certified, and authenticated, and then sent to China!! DTC, here we come!!!

We attended our first get together with the Our China Angels group this past weekend; The Chinese New Year festivities. We had a blast, and BOY were we blessed beyond belief! What an awesome group of  people, with an awesome, gorgeous bunch of children!!! We can't wait to share this adventure with all our new friends! Check out the photo album page for pics soon!

I am starting to wonder if our little China Angel has been conceived yet, or even possibly already born! I think about her almost constantly!

We have almost decided for sure that her name will be Adelina. Still thinking on the middle name. Possibly Grace, Claire, or Eve. We will also keep her given Chinese name as a second middle name, so we may wait and see what that is and go from there. She will be named after her sweet, late, great grandmother, Ada Jane Carmack.
